Privacy notice

How we use the details you send us and what happens when you visit this website. Last updated 3 November 2026.

Who we are

Mionlach Roofing and Leadworx Ltd (company number 13392636) decides how your details are used. In data protection law that makes us the controller. You can contact us about anything in this notice at mionlachroofing@outlook.com or on 07803 473995.

Our website partner Proven Path Strategies looks after your enquiry for us. It runs the system your enquiry is stored in, deletes enquiries when they are due and carries out requests to see, correct or delete your details on our behalf.

What we collect and why

When you ask for an inspection or a quote we collect your name, phone number and postcode, your email address if you give it, the job you need and anything you tell us about it. We use these details to reply to you, arrange a visit and prepare your quote. Our lawful basis is taking the steps you have asked for before we agree a contract.

If you go ahead with work, we use your details to carry out the job and invoice you. Our lawful basis is our contract with you. We also keep the records the law requires for tax and accounts.

If you send us a photo on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles that message under its own terms and we use the photo only to advise you about your roof.

You do not have to give us your details, but without them we cannot reply to you or quote for the work. We never sell your details, use them for advertising or make decisions about you by automated means.

When you visit this website

Cloudflare, which hosts the website, processes your IP address and basic details about your browser so it can deliver pages to you and protect the site from attacks. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the page viewed, the site you came from, your country, device and browser without cookies and without identifying you. When you tap our phone number, WhatsApp link or email address we count the tap and the page it was on. Nothing about you is recorded.

We also keep our own simple counts to see which pages bring enquiries: the page visited, the name of the site or campaign link that sent you here, whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer, roughly how long the page was open and how far down it was read, whether the quote form was started or sent (never what you typed) and which button was pressed. No cookies are used and nothing that identifies you is kept (no IP address or device ID). These counts and the tap counts are kept for 2 years by our website partner, Proven Path Strategies, in its Supabase database in London.

Our lawful basis for these is our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how it is used. The fonts and photos on this website come from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font or image service.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking. The website does not store anything on your device to remember you, which is why there is no cookie banner. The one exception is a note you can choose to set: visiting any page with ?count=off keeps a small note in your browser so your visits are not counted (we use this for our own devices). Visiting with ?count=on removes it.

Two security checks may use technology on your device that is strictly necessary to keep the website safe. The law allows this without asking first. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the website from automated attacks. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the enquiry form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. Neither is used to identify you or to follow you around the web.

Who handles your details

Your enquiry is stored by Supabase in London, in the client system our website partner Proven Path Strategies runs for us. These services handle your details for us:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website, counts visits and checks the enquiry form for spam
  • Supabase stores your enquiry in London
  • n8n, based in Germany, passes your enquiry to our inbox
  • Microsoft provides the Outlook email inbox where we receive your enquiry and reply to you
  • Proven Path Strategies, our website partner, looks after the website, the systems above and your enquiry for us

We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Sending details outside the UK

Cloudflare and Microsoft are US companies with servers around the world. n8n runs its service in Germany. Where your details leave the UK they are protected in one of two ways: by UK adequacy regulations, which cover the European Economic Area and US companies certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; or by the Information Commissioner's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your details

Your enquiry is deleted automatically two years after it arrives. If you go ahead with work, we keep your details with our job and accounting records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict how we use them, to object to how we use them and to have them sent to you or another organisation in a format a computer can read.

To use any of these rights, email mionlachroofing@outlook.com. We deal with every request together with Proven Path Strategies, who carries out any change or deletion in the system your enquiry is stored in. It is free. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
